kjm -- It's been awhile since I tried to draw something I saw in a dream. Interesting what you said about thinking about the narrative rather than the image.
Sometimes my dreams have no narrative. They last for a second or two, consisting of something like a film clip, and then I wake up. It is only after I wake up and try to draw what I saw, that the story begins.
am: I seem to recall the blooming of another flower related to R, at an earlier point, am I right?
ReplyDeleteI like the drawing of the dream; I see it both as many stories and as a backdrop to a play in which the different part of the story come to life.
I like the excerpt, too. Us humans are pretty hard on ourselves, aren't we?
