Sometimes I think of leaving Whatcom County for somewhere in Northern California, but I know now that I would find myself as homesick for this place as I still am for the landscape I left in Northern California in 1973. I've been fortunate to have been able to walk in two such compelling landscapes.
robin andrea -- Thank you. It was the light that caught my attention as I was sitting at my laptop late in that day. Today the morning the sun is so bright that I have to lower the shades to my left to be able to see my laptop at all!
