While I was talking on the telephone yesterday, a hummingbird flew to my porch and looked around. There is snow in the hills to the east. I'll be very happy if it doesn't snow down here near sea level. I love the late December sunlight light and being able to see the Big Dipper overhead at 5:00 in the morning.amhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09212213177713917828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6877731088554997649.post-83050493149440969612015-11-25T15:02:49.552-08:002015-11-25T15:02:49.552-08:00It really is windy there. Interesting to see that person walk into the video. The image was somewhat abstract and not particularly interesting until we noticed that there were areas of movement. While making a video of the wind on Scudder Pond, I didn't notice the person walking. It was only when I played it back in iPhoto that the walker became apparent.amhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09212213177713917828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6877731088554997649.post-13903352515110690072015-11-25T11:22:39.027-08:002015-11-25T11:22:39.027-08:00The person leaving the woods appeared further away...The person leaving the woods appeared further away than I expected.

It reminded me that I went to an art exhibition a few years ago featurin large plasma screens showing portraits and other images. You thought they were "stills", but then you noticed details like smoke rising from a cigarette. They were films in which very little movement happened.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6877731088554997649.post-12884362381757090072015-11-25T01:25:24.174-08:002015-11-25T01:25:24.174-08:00Such a beautiful song.Such a beautiful song. The Solitary Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11284354541952038339noreply@blogger.com
