In the first 20 minutes of a 40-minute walk in the rain, before circling back home

During that 40 minutes, I didn't see many people out walking. Two young women jogging on my way out and two young women with infants in strollers with plastic coverlets on my way back.

I'll have to admit that I'm not fond of any kind of wood when it's raining. I even avoid my favorite walk at Belfair because there are so many slippery walkways through the woods.

Otherwise, I might prefer cool, light rain to sunshine and heat.

When it rains here it gets very muddy. Walking around can be very tricky, and I usually end up with a lot of red mud all over the place. My twin brother loves to walk in the rain, but I think I prefer dappled sunlight through the trees! Love the photos, am.
