Sunday morning / Shelter from the tempest

The tempest in my mind / doth from my senses take all feeling.
(William Shakespeare -- words spoken by King Lear)

All, everything that I understand, I understand only because of love.
(Leo Tolstoy)

Tolstoy was right.
(Bob Dylan, from the liner notes from the album "Desire")

May your heart always be joyful.
(Bob Dylan, from "Forever Young")

Can't seem to come up with many words of my own recently, except to express a heartfelt thank you to those who continue to widen my horizons by posting on your blogs and who continue to stop by and comment here.  Thank you, too, to those who stop by silently.

I can feel my creative energy rising as it did in the past during this time of year, but it's nonverbal right now.  Although my health is good, my physical and emotional energy, as always, have their limits.  I have a hard time accepting that, but acceptance is the key.

you have a very peaceful looking space -- good, good shelter.

It must be the time of year -- I'm feeling much the same, yet for some reason I'm blogging a lot right now. But there's a lot going on underneath that has yet to find expression.

Thank you for your blog, and please listen to your body. This IS the time of year to slow down and it's a good thing! Soon we will have the onslaught of the Christmas holidays and it will require our energy to defend ourselves from THAT.

Peace, my friend.

Have a good week, am, and may you always find shelter from any storm.

How true. I would go so far as to say that the only things of meaning do so because of love.

The room in the photo at the top of your post looks like a good place to take shelter from any storm.

I understand so well about energy and its limitations. The trick is in learning how to use it well and wisely, and to allocate plenty for creativity.

The tree image on the cover of the weaving book is very striking. I take it that you will be weaving this winter. A good way to spend the cool, wet months ahead.

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but 'Scarlet Town' is my fave song on the new Bob at the moment. In fact I'm going to play it right now!

Just stopping by to say hello. Hoping the fall there is beautiful with the changing light and leaves in color.
