Good Morning, Moon / And something else from Lao Tzummerman / Social Distancing in Vietnam

This morning when I went outside at around 5:30 into the early morning light, I was not expecting to see the moon.  It was only when I turned to go back home that I saw it before it set.  Not having my camera with me, I hurried home to get it.

The words of truth are always paradoxical.
Truthful words are not beautiful; beautiful words are not truthful.
Good words are not persuasive; persuasive words are not good.
-- Lao-Tzu

not only are those kids far apart and wearing masks, none of them are even facing each other. it must be hard for small children who thrive on physical contact.

that quote struck me since I have a habit of blurting out obvious (to me) truths that other people seem to find uncomfortable.

Are those Douglas firs in the great morning moon photo?

I like the Lao-Tzu quote. It's good advice for anyone aspiring to write. In fact, it goes for all the arts - you could be using notes, shapes, etc. Aim for authenticity (truth) and let beauty take care of itself.

Colette -- I'm not sure. You may be right. The only tree I recognize in that photo is the pine tree. Glad you like the photo!

Those kindergarten children, spaced and masked, just about broke me. Our poor world.

My Heart just aches for all of the Children in the World that must remain 6 feet apart... the psychological effect and abnormality of that, being that Human Beings are meant to be Social Creatures, is as terrifying as the Virus!
