I love your heart shaped plant. What is it again?
Rosemarie -- I love it, too. When I was first given a cutting to grow indoors many years ago, it was referred to as a "Flowering Maple." It is from the family of plants called Abutilon. In recent years, I have been cutting it back each fall so that it is about 6 inches tall. This year it has grown to 30 inches tall. Without the bamboo that it is tied to, it would trail down like a vine.
Did you watch the recent Bob Dylan documentary? I enjoyed it so much. I had forgotten how often he was booed and jeered by his audiences. I mean, why spend money to go see him if you hate what he's doing? He evolved, like many artists, but people wanted him to stay in the first box he found himself in.

Tara -- Good to know that you appreciated the quote and the photos! I wouldn't have been able to watch the Bob Dylan documentary otherwise, but a friend with Netflix made it possible for me to see it. I watched it twice, baffled the first time by parts of it that didn't match what I know from paying attention to Bob Dylan ever since I first heard his voice on TV in 1963 (the Civil Rights March on Washington, D.C.) and so grateful to be able to see all that concert footage from 40-some years ago. My gut feelings were correct about the made-up parts! I'm currently listening to the cassette tape he released in 1992, "Good As I Been To You." Over the last month, it has been illuminating to listen to his music evolve from his first album in 1963. My collection of albums, then cassette tapes, CDs, and then downloads to my laptop covers his entire career.
I'm especially fond of the "Hard Rain" album which was recorded at a concert on May 23, 1976, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
