This morning when I got up at 4 a.m., thinking of the children of the world near and far, I saw that the Abutilon bud I had been watching this past week had opened during the night.

A beautiful gift, that flower.
I've had several of those though mine were pink but hard to enjoy as the flowers hang down.
One of my most favorite songs. The lyrics are profound and so beautiful. The Abutilon is a wonderful moment of opening.
