We could be such a better nation and culture if we listened more to native Americans -- especially elders like Billy Frank, Jr. Certainly saving our planet, respecting our environment needs to be our priority. Years ago visiting Washington state we observed salmon swimming upstream to spawn. We definitely need to save this species.
