All things must pass and love is the bridge.
When Richard returned from Vietnam in 1970, he bought me a copy of "All Things Must Pass" for Christmas. When George Harrison died, it was Richard who called me with the news. Richard died on April 20, 2008. I lit a candle for him this morning.
"But the love will have been enough; all those impulses of love return to the love that made them. Even memory is not necessary for love. There is a land of the living and a land of the dead and the bridge is love, the only survival, the only meaning."
(Thornton Wilder)

That's such a very moving and wonderful quote.
Sorry about your loss, but moved by your lovely tribute with the wonderful Thornton Wilder quote. I plan to read more of your postings and look forward to following your blog.

This is a very beautiful quote, am.
Thank you all for continuing to stop by and to George for stopping by a first time.
My new/old job is limits my time for blog posting and blog visiting but I plan to continue visiting and posting as time allows.
I sure do enjoy visiting the communities, large and small, that rise up around blogs!
