I'd thought that bedrest would be the best way to recover from shingles. It seems that being up and around at home is what works. I feel better when I write something down and share something I hope is meaningful in some way to someone else as it is to me.

"Whatever gets you through the night, it's all right."
(John Lennon)

Reading some excellent posts about Thomas Hardy's novel THE MAYOR OF CASTERBRIDGE led me to Griffin House's video. I'd not heard of him before.

Thanks, am, seeing the video certainly adds to my favorite song on Griffin House's latest album.

Didn't know Griffin House. Beautiful vid. Hope you find a lot of small, joyful things to focus on around you, to balance out the big, big questions we're all pondering along with you.

Glad to hear being up and around helps. Wishing you good health very soon.

(And good reading. So far, I've only read excerpts of The Mayor of Castorbridge but I'll check out your links about it.)

Friends, silent and otherwise -- Grateful for you. I know we're in good company in this time. As a old artist friend/brother wrote to encourage me many years ago, "We're all in this together." With the many small joyful things and the big, big questions that R.L. spoke of.
