what is Booker's point? I couldn't watch to the end. I am so dispirited, my friend.

Not sure how far you watched, Tara. Cory Booker's point, after carefully outlining all the reasons for believing the testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and stating all the ways that Brett Kavanaugh is in no way credible, was "this pernicious patriarchy has to stop ... I cannot stomach that we are going to move forward ... and then after a few concluding words he walked out.

I posted his 24-minute statement because he said, "This process is a sham," and then backed up his statement in great detail.

Almost everything I've read about him has been negative, but I have no criticism of his defense of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and his denunciation of Brett Kavanaugh and the Senate hearing process.
